At our first spring visit to Mr B's a lot of things that have changed! Many of the plants are changing, lots of animals are coming out too! I was surprised that there was a lot of trash in such a beautiful place, it hurt to see but we ended up picking a lot of the trash. It was important for us to pick up the litter because the animals could've been harmed. Many of the animals could swallow the tiny pieces of plastic or get stuck in some of the plastics. It is also very bad for the environment it might harm us in some way too.
Some changes I have noticed in Mr.B's are that many of the tree's and other plants are almost fully bloomed. There wasn't much algae on either pond. It is very important for us to pick up trash in Mr.B's to prevent animals eating the trash and dying and so the neither pond becomes polluted. Something that surprised me was that there wasn't many mushrooms around the paths of the ponds.
I love going out in the spring time to Mr.b's, there are so many flowers and colors that in winter and fall you don't see as much, it is very important for us to pick up liter in Mr.b's because it saves many animals and save the environment.
Some stuff that changed in mr b's backyard is the animals, trees, temperature, and the water level. Its important to pick up plastic because it can kill animals and heart the environment.
Some changes that I have seen in Mr. B's backyard class room are that there are more leave then the last time I was in there. There was a lot of TRASH!!! I am in environmental club. I don't want the world to go to crap.
Some changes I noticed were the buds on the trees, there was more green, and there was more trash. One thing that surprised me was the buds on the trees. It is important to pick up the trash to keep the animals safe and the environment clean.
There was a lot more trash and litter at Mr. B's. The amount of trash that was there really surprised me. Something that also surprised me was how high the lake water was. It's important to pick up the litter because the animals may get confused and think the trash is food. Then, they'll eat it and eventually die because of the litter in their body.
When I walked back into Mr. B's for a spring visit, I immediately noticed 2 things: a much higher water level, and a lot more trash than before. Trees also started to grow buds, and tadpoles were swimming in the water. I was definitely surprised to see the amount of trash in Mr B's, since its supposed to be super clean. It was important to pick up the trash to clean the environment and ensure the safety of the animals at Mr. B's.
There were a lot more wildlife in Mr. B's since spring. There were new species of songbirds, and we saw three turtles on only our first day, whereas we saw only about three all fall. The water level had risen considerably, and I was surprised to see the dock completely submerged in the lake. If we hadn't collected the trash, the animals could have mistaken it for food and ingested it. It also may have polluted the water and made it unsafe.
In Mr.B's I've noticed that it's very bright and the water has risen a lot, and it's very beautiful! It is very important to keep Mr.B's clean because we shouldn't harm any of the animals, it should be a happy home for all of them. We shouldn't litter so that it doesn't get polluted and harm the animals.
What changes I have noticed in my 1st spring visit back is the water rose onto the dock. Another change is that the water became much more clearer. Last visit before winter, I couldn't see the bottom of the lake but now I can. One last change is that the animals were more active then our last visit. One thing that surprised me was how clear the water was. Another thing is the amount of trash in the lake and it surrounding. Also that I saw a songbird laying eggs. It is important to pick up the litter at Mr.B's because it will preserve the natural ecosystem. Also that animals can be harmed by the litter because they don't know the difference between pieces of plastic and actual food.
Changes that I have noticed at Mr. B's is that their was a lot of trash, more birds, and fish in the pond. Something that surprised me is the fact that fish were in the pond, because there never were fish in the lake since the start of Mr. B's. I also was surprised that I got to see some painted turtles in the pond. It is important to pick up trash in Mr. B's Backyard Classroom because the trash can harm the wildlife. Plastics can break down in to tinier plastics called micro plastics that organisms will eat, thinking that it is food. The chemicals in the plastic then work their way through the entire body and stop certain bodily functions from working, and if an organism eats to much, it clogs their stomach, and killing it slowly. Most of the trash that we found at Mr. B's were wrappers.
When I recently went to Mr. B´s Backyard, nothing really surprised me. However, I noticed many signs of Spring. At bird box D, male and female tree swallows were protecting their nest from other birds. also there were buds that were sprouting on the trees. This made the trees look more green then they were in Fall.
There was a lot of trash in Mr. B´s too. It is very important to clean up this trash. First of all, it can ruin the environment. Animals in Mr. B´s need this to survive. Secondly, it can cause harm to the different animals that live there.
There were a lot of changes in the spring at Mr.B´s. First of all, there were lot´s of flowers blooming and plants were more green. Another difference that I noticed was that the weather was a lot warmer. I was very surprised that the water level detention and retention ponds was so high. It was very important to pick up trash because the trash could extremely hurt the animals and contaminate the water.
There has been many changes in spring from fall. One change is the weather. It is much more hot than it used to be because it is getting closer to summer. Another change is the further growth of plants do to the temperature. You can see there are many beautiful flowers and leaves out. It was very good for us to pick up the litter because it would help the environment of Mr.B's so much.
One of the changes at Mr. B's I noticed was that there was a higher tide at the lake. It surprised me that there was so many trash at Mr. B's. It is important to pick up trash so animals don't consume them and choke on them.
There were a lot of changes that I noticed in Mr. B's backyard classroom. First of all, there was a lot of trash! It was very important to pick up this trash because animals could choke on the trash. Other changes I noticed were: the water level rising, more birds out, toads were out and bugs were getting out. Something that surprised were the bird box having no activity. In conclusion, Mr. B's backyard classroom is an amazing opportunity to learn about nature.
There is a lot of changes I noticed like, more color, more noise, and more life in general. I was suprised to see so much trash in such a respectable place like Mr. B's. It's very important to keep Mr.B's a clean place
This visit at Mr.B's was a wonderful experience, and a surprising one. I noticed that the trees had buds and the leaves were bright green. Last visit was in the fall and many of the leaves were red and brown. Mushrooms were also present last time but this time around, none were seen. The nesting boxes were also occupied. In nesting box E, I saw a nest inside. In nesting box D, I saw a female Tree swallow in the box. She was laying her eggs! I also saw many tadpoles in the water and many turtles. With all these animals, we have to keep their environment safe and clean. We picked up litter all around the ponds and on the trails. We picked up all kinds of things like bottle caps, wrappers, and even a toothbrush! It's important to pick up these kinds of things because animals and ecosystems can be harmed. Animals might think litter is food so it is important to keep their home safe.
After months of staying inside, coming back to Mr. B’s Backyard Classroom was refreshing. It was evident that a lot had changed while everyone else was hiding from the cold. Last time we were all out there, most of the trees leaves were orange and red, or all on the ground. This time around however the grounded leaves were gone, and the barren trees had gotten their green leaves back. The ground had become more grass covered then just dirt and sand. Something else that changed that also surprised me was the dock over the water, is now completely under the water besides the poles rising above. Of course the last thing I didn’t notice until Mrs. Sommers told us about it, was all the trash and garbage scattered around the area. My group found things from Jolly Rancher wrappers to a giant lizard decoration in the lake. It was important to clean up this trash because the wildlife that lives in the area could mistake the garbage for food, and choke on the trash. Of course most of my group found was small pieces of plastic, but the plastic inside animals can build up fast and block actual food from digesting.
Going back to Mr.B's was really fun and full of adventure. I was so happy to see the animals again. I noticed that the trees grew their leaves back and you could see buds growing. This time the nesting boxes were occupied by male and female tree swallows. You could see the females laying their eggs. Last I saw the tadpoles they were so tiny, now you could see they are almost growing out of it, starting to look more like frogs. Its important to preserve our natural ecosystem and to protect and help animals
The recent visit to Mr.B's backyard was quite exciting (since we haven't been there for at least 5 months). In Mr.B's backyard, there was beauty, nature, and, or course, animals. But along beauty comes a fear of trash. As our job as students, we went around and picked up plastic bottles, bottle caps, toothbrushes, wrappers, and pieces of paper. What we picked up was horrifying to see, but we picked some up and did our part in the Galloway Community.
The trees stared blooming. More animals such as birds and snakes started coming back. What surprised me was how much trash we found at Mr.B's. It was important because it saves a lot of animals lives and protects our enviroment even just a little but matters.
it got greener and more bugs. All the trash surprised me . And its important to pick up the littler because it can kill animals.
The changes that I noticed was that the trees were more bare but there was more animal life. The thing that surprised me was the amount of trash. It is important to pick up trash because it can damage the environment and hurt the animals in the environment.
There are many types of flowers out there. I also saw different bird species like the tree swallower. I was surprised by the tremendous amount of plastic products within Mr.B's . It's important to pick up trash to keep wildlife safe and protected.
The changes I've seen between now and the fall is now there are a lot more animals and plants. I was surprised of how much trash there was when you actually looked for it. If we didn't pick up the littler the animals could have eaten it and got hurt.
It's important to keep the environment safe because we need it to survive.
In Mr.B's during the spring, there was more wildlife, hotter temperatures, and the leaves were green. Something that was surprising, was how much trash there was in that short period of time. It is important to pick up trash, so we can protect wildlife.
It's really important to pick up trash because leaving trash is bad for the environment and bad for living things. It's surprising how people can just leave trash that can kill living organisms.
I was surprised by the amount of the trash and the wildlife that came out. The changes I noticed was that flowers started to bloom and leaves on trees did. It's important to pick up trash because wildlife can get tangle on it and die.
The changes i noticed were that leaves were starting to come back, there was more animals like turtles, snakes, frogs, toads, birds groundhogs tadpoles and dragonflies. It's important to clean up the trash so the lake doesn't get pollutited and so animals have a healthy place to live.
I noticed that the animals were out more. I was suprised at the amount of trash in Mr. B's. I am interesting in learning the types of wildlife.
Ever since we came back some major changes Ive seen are the more flowers. As I walked around, I found really colorful, and vibrant flowers scattered around trees. Another change is, the leaves looked different, as in color wise. The colors were usually bright green, or a light shade of brown. Furthermore, there were more birds out. Before, there weren't many birds but when I came back theres much more birds.
What surprised me the most, was the water. Before, the water was really high. But as of yesterday, the water seemed lower than before. There was also a lot of algae.
It is important to clean up the trash in Mr.B's classroom because cleaning the environment not only help the community but it also helps the wildlife.
The leafs have flourished and hoe more wild life came out. The thing that surprised me was how much many trees and flowers grew. The importance in picking up the trash is to keep the wild life safe.
Its so surprising everything is exciting in the spring! There are so many changes this spring rather than last year in Nonmember during my class visit to Mr.B's. There are no longer acorns and white stuff in the lake. Te acorns are no longer there because leaves are no longer dropping their now growing! No more white stuff because of the climate and the bacteria during the change in weather. Now theres a lot of algae. Its important to clean Mr.B's so it blossoms beautifully. Thats how suprising and excited I am for this year Mr.B's
ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ What surprised me was that there are more green plants that are sprouting. What also surprised me was that there are more birds that are coming out. But still, not much butterflies yet. It is also important to clean up Mr. B's, because animals can die from plastic and we also want to keep Mr. B's clean for our next year guests.^^
