Today, Watershed Ambassador for the Mullica River Watershed, Kassandra Archer, taught the students how to observe and identify macroinvertebrates in Mr. B's Backyard ponds. She also explained how they are indicators of water quality.

Today we made our first spring observations and started our environmental studies of Mr. B's Backyard. We will be applying what we read and learn directly to our local environment and its organisms.
