I learned that you should always take care of your environment, and that if you really look closely you can find so many things. There are so many things in Mr.B's that you can see you just have to find them.

I learned the difference between the two ponds, the detention and retention basins, and learned about the different organisms that live the community I live in. My favorite memory is when we put down the mulch because i got to be outside and help out. In conclusion, I think Mr. B's is a great way for students to learn about the land around us and what kind of animals and plants we share our community with.

I learned lots of new things this year in Mr.B's Backyard Classroom. I learned things that I didn't know. For example, I learned about different animals and what they eat, about their habitat, etc. Mr.B's was a good learning experience, it was fun to learn more about the species and ecosystems. My favorite memory was going out there and having fun with friends and not being inside learning. Instead your outside learning but having experience with the different species.

Its just fun to go outside and see everything hands on. My favorite memory just happened a couple weeks ago we went out to mr b's and all we did was look around at the nature and basically relax. My final thoughts are that Mr B's is pretty good at what it does which is teaching kids about nature. Mr B's is a one of a kind place that were lucky to have basically in the backyard of our school.

I learned how to appreciate nature. In elementary school, I used to run around, and never stopped to listen and take in the true beauty of the world. I feel like I became closer to nature, and more aware of how humans are harming it. My science teacher Mrs. Sommers has an Indian quote that says, "Move much, see little. Move little, see much."

The best thing I remember about Mr. B's Backyard is when we did the Nature Fest because there were so many presentations and we even did our own presentation about the mallard duck. There was even a female and male mallard duck with 11 ducklings which none of them were eaten by the 16 garden snakes that were lurking in the water and some were on the land sunbathing to keep warm. That was the best thing I ever saw at Mr. B's Backyard and I'll never forget it.

Mr.B's is a very exciting classroom and you can learn so much from it. My favorite memory from this class is one of my friend, Joey slipping into the pond. I learned a lot this year at Mr.B's Backyard Classroom. I learned about how important it is to have and to keep Mr.B's clean. Mr.B's is apart of the Mullica River Water Shed. This watershed connects to Mullica River to the Great Bay to the Atlantic Ocean. Keeping the pond clean is vital to the ecosystem around us. New Jersey get drinking water from the Mullica River, if Mr.B's become polluted, it goes to Mullica river, to the Great Bay, and again to the Atlantic Ocean. Another reason we learned about Mr. B's is a storage for rainwater. We had many guest speakers come in which was a great learning experience. My favorite memory was when we went went out to see the female mallard duck in a nest with 11 eggs. When the eggs hatched, we saw 11 little baby ducklings swimming behind their mother. I love Mr. B's and I am going to miss it next year.

This year I've learned that there is life everywhere and we barely notice it. For my Nature Fest project I did The Trees of Mr.B's and it really made me realize how much there is in such a little space, there are numbers of plants in Mr.B's, then there are numbers of animals that live in and eat those plants. All of the insects help the plants grow, they fuel the animals as food, everything is so connected and there's so much to connect. And what I've realized is that we just walk past everything happening! Mr.B's has definitely changed this for me. My favorite thing I did at Mr.B's this year is when Mrs.Sommers showed me all of the different types of trees we have in Mr.B's, but it also showed me how much knowledge Mrs.Sommers has stored in her head!

All over the year I have learned a lot. That the world could show lot of beautiful things. Also how life is precious and to take care of animals and your environment. I had lots of good memories at Mrs. B but, my favorite was when I taught the elementary students and some 8 graders about sharks in the nature fest. Lastly I'm glad i had lots of fun in Mrs B because I wont be here next year.
