I learned a lot this year at Mr.B's Backyard Classroom. I learned about how important it is to have and to keep Mr.B's clean. Mr.B's is apart of the Mullica River Water Shed. This watershed connects to Mullica River to the Great Bay to the Atlantic Ocean. Keeping the pond clean is vital to the ecosystem around us. New Jersey get drinking water from the Mullica River, if Mr.B's become polluted, it goes to Mullica river, to the Great Bay, and again to the Atlantic Ocean. Another reason we learned about Mr. B's is a storage for rainwater. We had many guest speakers come in which was a great learning experience. Specifically, I learned that the less you make noise and move the more animals you are able to see. When everyone was being quiet and wasn't moving as much I was able to see 3 snakes, 6 birds, 2 frogs, and a bunch of dragon and damsel flies. My favorite memory was all of the years I've been to nature fest, it's so interesting to see everyone's projects. I will really miss Mr.B's backyard as I move on to 8th grade then to high school and so on.

I was impressed with Mr.B's backyard classroom. This year was the first year I got to visit Mr.B's and I learned so much. I learned to use ALL my senses when observing because there is more than what meets the eye. I also learn how to identified animals the animals I might see in my backyard rather than animal I might see in an exotic climate. My favorite memory was when I was cleaning out a bird box and I saw blue feathers. Little did I know, the feathers were connected to a dead bird. After screaming and freaking out I went back to see the bird that once inhabited the box. It was really cool and interesting to see the bird and the nest it created.

This year I've learned that there is life everywhere and we barely notice it. For my Nature Fest project I did The Trees of Mr.B's and it really made me realize how much there is in such a little space, there are numbers of plants in Mr.B's, then there are numbers of animals that live in and eat those plants. All of the insects help the plants grow, they fuel the animals as food, everything is so connected and there's so much to connect. And what I've realized is that we just walk past everything happening! Mr.B's has definitely changed this for me. My favorite thing I did at Mr.B's this year is when Mrs.Sommers showed me all of the different types of trees we have in Mr.B's, but it also showed me how much knowledge Mrs.Sommers has stored in her head!
i learned a lot at Mr.b's backyard classroom. this year i learned about watersheds and about a lot of animals. these were my favorite because i had a good time and it was very interseting learning about them. my favorite memory would be how lots of thing change from September to June. i loved doing the nature feast it was a lot of fun esspesolly having that horseshoe crab guy to help me out when i dident know what to say and i was very thankful for that.
Mr.B's was the best thing about science. We get to go outside and see nature. There were many great memories in the past 9 months, but the best one was pretty recent it was the nature fest. For years I went to the nature fest and I always wanted to be a presenter like frogs or a snake. When it was my time to present I was so happy. It was a lot different than I except. Many people just come for an animal not the project. But still many people enjoyed both the tadpoles and the project at my station that all that I am happy about. This was the best memory at Mr.B's so far.
I learned alot of stuff at Mr.B's. I learned we should take care of it. My favorite memory was when I saw the Northern Water Snake
This year I learned to take time and look and hear the nature. I learned that the saying '' move much see little and move little see much'' actually pays off. At the beginning of the year I was just walking and looking and I didn't get to see what the other kids saw. Towards the end of the year I didn't move a lot and saw and heard so much. My favorite memory was nature fest. I thought it was so much fun to teach kids about butterflies. Mr.B's was a great thing to be apart of and I hope to go back for 8 th grade for more memories.
I learned that Mr. B's is fun. I've been there before and the first time I saw it, I was blown. My favorite memory was Nature Fest.

I loved this lesson because I felt like a part of nature and I saw more by hearing. My favorite memory was definitely the nature fest because I loved teaching the kids about red and gray foxes. I felt like a huge part of Mr.B's and I really hope to go there in the future to see how much it will improve. I've always wanted to go there when I was younger and now, I finally had the experience to go. I was amazed by what I saw, and I hope students from last year really enjoy Mr.B's backyard classroom.
My favorite part was the catching and releasing tadpoles. I learned that macroinvertebretes are the basis of the food chain.
I learned about macro invertebrates and that if we stop moving we can learn much more. My favorite memory was when me and my friends were walking through the path a snake out of nowhere started climbing a tree right in front of us scaring all of us. Mr b's is awesome because it was naturally made.

I think there should be more of mr.b's for the other kids next year! :D
This year in Mr.B's I've learned more than ever. I have learned so much about cleaning our environment and how important that is to all living things. It has been a fun experience being able to go out there and learn so much. This was definitely a great year and I can wait to go back
I learned a lot in Mr.B's Backyard. I learned about many different animals such as macroinvertebrates. I also learned a lot about the habitat in Mr.B's Backyard.
All over the year I have learned a lot. That the world could show lot of beautiful things. Also how life is precious and to take care of animals and your environment. I had lots of good memories at Mrs. B but, my favorite was when I taught the elementary students and some 8 graders about sharks in the nature fest. Lastly I'm glad i had lots of fun in Mrs B because I wont be here next year.
