I learned that there are not just one species of animals but many other species of wildlife outside in Mr.B's. My greatest memories would be going outside after school with environmental club. My final thoughts about Mr.B's is that "Move little see more, move more see little."

I learned about the different organisms in Mr. B's like the northern water snake, the black racer snake, the blue jay, mallard duck, tree swallow and many more. My favorite memory from Mr. B's backyard was probably either the nature fest with all the kids out there looking at the snake that the professor had caught or the last time we went out there at the end of the year where we just got to sit out there and enjoy the nature. I think Mr. B's is a great way to teach students about nature in our ecosystem in south Jersey.

This year at Mr.B's I learned that there are a lot of animals that are around us and we don't even know it. I learned about new animal species and that just sitting down on a bench and listening to nature can be a very good way to just relax for a second in a crazy life.

I have learned many things from going to Mr.B's and I hope I can still visit there as the years go on. I have learned to respect nature and do not touch any of the live animals in the exhibit. I also am never going to forget the saying " Move little see much, Move much see little." Some of my favorite memories happened this year during Incentive day when we got to pick Mr.B's as an option. I got to see snakes slither in tree's and I even saw one snake eat a baby bird from it's own nest. That was very sad but, memorable because I had never seen a snake slither up in tree's. I also liked that I was able to walk around the site and got to see nature at it's finest beauty. Some of my final thoughts on Mr.B's are that I am going to miss this place and I liked when we got to learn beyond just the classroom.

Mr.B's has been a very big impact on me.this place shows me that even though life is evolving and moving forward doesn't mean it is bad to stop and go back for a change. life can be difficult at times but, when you have a quiet small place to go to and... breath. to know tech is not the only source of enjoyment.then you will fully know that life is not so bad after all.

This year in Mr.B's I have learned about animals and nature. I enjoyed that we were able to go out side and experience nature instead of sitting inside and watching a video or looking at pictures of what we were learning about in class. My favorite memory of Mr.B's was when me and one of my friends were sitting on a bench and looking for birds, one came and landed on the fence right behind us.

I learned that nature is very important and that we need to keep our environment clean. In Mr.B's we try to keep the water clean and pick up all the trash. We need nature to keep us breathing. My favorite memory was when I helped out at open house and got to see everything in the water.

This year at Mr. B's Backyard Classroom, I learned about the macroinvertibrates of Mr. B's and how they help determine the water quality. My favorite memory was of Mr. B's was sitting by a bird box and having a male and female tree swallow sitting next to me. Another cherished memory was hearing my first bullfrog call on our first visit to Mr. B's, and how scared/surprised I was. Being at Mr. B's was my absolute favorite time of the school year!

I loved going out to Mr. B's this year. Every time I went out I was able to learn something new about nature and the organisms around me. Nature fest was incredible and educational. I was able to take a species I was interested in and learn so much more about it. It gave me an opportunity to better understand the species I worked on as well as other species in its environment. Going to Mr. B's is definitely an experience I will always remember.

Nature fest was really cool! I got to present information to visitors and they really enjoyed the game my group made. I learned that Mr.B's has many different kinds of species. Like plants, trees, insects, snakes, birds, and so much more. Just sitting in Mr.B's was very peaceful and soothing since you could here the birds chirping and the wind blowing. I have many favorite memories there since me and my friends could enjoy nature together. It was very fun!

Nature Fest was very educational and a great learning experience. I enjoyed working with fellow students teaching others more about our topic. Not only was it fun to be the teacher for the day, I liked going to the other stands and informing myself. Through out the year going to Mr.Bs was an important part of science. I have many unforgettable memories made and I learned about different species. I will miss it dearly.

I had learned many new things from Mr. B's and nature fest. At Mr. B's I have learned about the different levels of pollution for animals in the water also about watersheds plus much more. Then I have been doing nature fest for many years and each year I enjoy it more every year. It feels amazing to be able to go out and show kids different things about nature. If everyone just sits down and listen, they will see and hear different things like birds or ducks swimming in the water. Mr. B's allows people to do what I just described, it is a place where time goes by so fast and nobody wants to leave. My favorite memory at Mr. B's is when we would just go out and walk around. Also, nature fest is one of my favorites because it is very fun to create a backboard and other things like a game for a given animal. Then at nature fest we get to walk around and see other people's backboards. Also, we saw live snakes and turtle shells that were out on display too. Over all, Mr. B's is a great place to go out and just sit and relax. It is just an easy place to go and forget about everything and just enjoy nature.

One of my favorite things that I learned was the amount of species in Mr.B's. I learned that there were macroinvertebrates were in Mr.B's. I learned that they are bottom dwelling organisms that have no backbone or spine. You can also see them with the naked eye. My favorite memory is when a friend and I found a plastic cup in the water. We tried to get to it, but we could not. Another classmate of mine put on overalls and went into the pond to get the cup. It was hilarious. He eventually got and got back to the ground safely.

The last two trips out to Mr. B’s have come and go, adding another “last” to the list of things that have ended this year, such as band, jazz band, drama, and as of today GMTV. Like all the examples, I am disappointed it’s coming to a close, but unlike everything else, I can’t just join the club next year, because the next teacher after Mrs. Sommers might not bring the environmental club out there, or not have the club all together. After all the times I've went out there, I’ve learned that New Jersey had so many diverse animals, and a lot of them can be packed into one small area. At first, I thought all the worksheets we got almost every time we went out were pointless and annoying, but I realize that they were designed to almost force us to notice how much life is in Mr. B’s. It was nice to finally have an out-of-classroom learning experience which is something I rarely had in Arthur Rann, the school I went to before the middle school. In the end, Mr. B’s is an amazing place and I hope the next science teacher after Mrs. Sommers takes the opportunity to make learning environmental science a lot more exciting and fun.

What I learned in Mr B's is that nature is kind and mad in it's own way. Mad in a good way. Animals can be weird at times, scared, or even hungry. And nature fest was nice. I love waiting for kids to come and write down 2 quick facts and leave then sitting down in the shade watching animals go by back and forth.

I love Mr. B's Backyard. Mrs. Sommers has taught me so much. Just being out there makes me feel so peaceful. It relaxes and calms me. One of my favorite memories is when I thought it was a fake snake. Like one of those snakes that prank you. So I got close to it not thinking it was real, and it moved toward the gate where I was and so I thought it was going to bite me. Thank you for everything Mrs. Sommers.

So, one if the main things Ive learned while going to mr.b's is to appreciate nature. I go outside from time to time, but going to mr.b's changed my perspective. When we'd go outside to explore, I loved listening to the sounds. I never really paid it any attention but when I did, it was a different experience for me. The sounds of nature is so relaxing and Mr.B's made me realize that. I go outside often now, too take pictures and listen to the animals.

This year, the thing that we learned that most interested me is just how many creatures there really are in nature. Specifically in the ponds. I was really surprised when the watershed ambassador showed us all the macroinvertebrates in the water. My favorite memory was pretty recently when we saw a red plastic Solo cup out in the pond so my friend Sean put on the water suit and went out to get it. I really appreciate the opportunity that I received this year to experience nature in depth.
