The thing that surprised me that there are so many and we observed all of them. They are important because bigger animals eat them and humans eat the animals so they are great foods for the animals and foods we eat.

Something that surprised is that there are more species in the water than I had expected. Also, when the water is really good the insects are on the top. That gives us information about the water quality.

Many cool things surprised me about the macroinvertebrates. The one thing was how little insects are actually a big part of human life and the food web. They are so small so people think that they are worthless but they are actually a big part of everyone's life. They are important because they are important in the food web, they make soil, big part of life, and breaks things down like leafs.

It surprised me how much we need macroinvertebrates in our daily lives. They are important because we wouldnt be able to farm without them, they are digesters, and they help us find the water quality.

Macroinvertebrate are very important, they help us with farming, they eat plants to make soil, they are called digesters. Macroinvertebrates are also food for birds and fishes, which are our food. They also help you define the quality of water. If theres a lot then its good quality, but if there arent enough then it is bad quality. what was really surprising is that they are visible but not big enough to have a back bone.

Something that surprised me is that insects are actually very important to us humans and we shouldn't just kill them, we should think twice. Macroinvertebrate are important because there food for animals such as birds, & fish. That's important to us because we eat fish . Also they are disecters and they are eating the plants which makes soil. If they weren't there we wouldn't be able to farm.

Some things that i learned about macroinvertebrates that surprised me were that, you can see them with you eyes but they don't have a backbone. They're mostly insects. Depending on the type of insect it can tell you if water is good/medium/poor quality. Macroinvertebrates are important for many reasons. For example, They provide food, eat plants + make soil, and they'e very important in the food web.

It seems that if you look closer and closer and observe one thing carefully, the world gets bigger. Macroinvertebrates made me realize that there are many lives (big and small) on our beautiful planet Earth. So every creature should have the ability to be protected from pollution and unsanitary conditions.

Microinvertebrate: Something that you can see with our eyes and has no back bone. Something that surprised after watching and looking around after having a little lesson taught by a wonderful person was how all and any kind of animal can camouflage themselves with there surrounding to hide from there prey. They camouflage with plants, flowers, trees, or other animals. There was many other things that surprised me but that was the one thing that wowed me.

I learned that macroinvertebrates are spineless bugs that often have a lot of legs. I never really noticed them, I just considered them some weird and useless insects. But they really aren't. Without macroinvertebrates, bigger organisms wouldn't even exist. They are the base of many food chains. Also, they help scientists determine the quality of the water they live in.

I also learned many things in Mr. Bs like macroenvertebretes, hawks, tad polls, frogs, and a few different snakes. When I went out to Mr.B's backyard I was excited. I've been to Mr.B's a lot but every time I get excited because I know there will be something new. I saw a lot of things but what I found surprising is that it wasn't windy. When it's not windy you can really see the reflection in the water and it looks really cool. I saw 2 mallard birds , 3 maple trees , and 5 willows. There was also a BIG mushroom . There was frogs, wild flowers, cattails. i really want to learn more about turtles. I had a lot of fun!!!!
