macro invertebrates help us tell how clean or dirty the water is depending on the macro invertebrates in the water

Macroinvertebrates are organisms that lack a spine and are large enough to be seen with the naked eye. Examples of macro- invertebrates include flatworms, crayfish, snails, clams and insects, such as dragonflies. They are important because they play an important role. They help maintaining the ecosystem.

I learned a lot about macroinvertebrates that surprised me and I also learned that they are very important. One thing that surprised me was that they don't have a back bone. Thy are very important because they are a part of the food chain.

What surprised me about macroinvertebrates was that they can live in the water like the dragonfly nymph and once it grow it can fly like you would never expect that the dragonfly once lived in the water. They are important because they maintain a healthy ecosystem and lest researchers know if the ecosystem is healthy by find a bunch of them in the water and if there aren't any that means the ecosystem is unhealthy.

I learned that macro means small and vertebrates mean no spine. What surprised me was there are so many small macrovertebrates in the water that you can barley see. Plus they don´t have no spine. They are a food web for the ecosystem.

My class went to Mr.B's to learn about macroinvertebrates. I learned a lot of surprising facts. First, they are very small insects that live in water. Next, they have no back bone. Finally, there are so many of them at Mr.B's.

I learned that macroinvertebrates are organisms that hav no bones, but you can see them. We got to see them and figure out the species. There were so many different macroinverebrates.

they can be used to test the amount of polution of the water

there are a lot of macroinvertebrates, they all are pretty creepy and they are important because they are part of the food chain in the pond in Mr.B's

The things that I learned from the macro invertebrates from Mr. B's was that the macro invertebrates were good for the environment. It kept the life cycle going. It was crazy that all these different insects lived in Mr. B's backyard classroom pond.

I learned that macroinvertebrates are organinisms that are viewable to the human eye, but have no spine. They are fascinating creatures and play a very important role in maintaining a healthy ecosystem, as they are consumers of algae and other organic matter, thus help to remove nutrients.

In one of my latest visits to Mr.B's we learned about macro invertebrates, and their importance. I learned that there millions of them in just the pound and they are of importance because they provide food other animals in the pound and on the ground.

I learned a lot about macroinvertebrates. I was surprised that there was so many of them just floating around in the water that we totally just disregard. Some of them were really kind of cool and others just, eh, I’ll pass. I don't like the “worm-ish” ones. Macroinvertebrates are important because they are a part of the food chain and they are also used to see the water quality.

I never knew how many macroinvertebrates were in that little space. They come in many different forms and shapes. Every little scoop of the pond had them. They are really good and important because they provide food and cleanse the pond.

I learned that macroinvertebrates thrive in polluted water. Also I at fisrt I thought macro meant more but it actually means none. So macroinvertebrates have no vertebrates. Macroinvertebrates are important because they filter living organizms and maintain the waters health.

I learned that there are thousands of macroinvertibrates in Mr. B's just swimming around in the ponds that you generally can't see. We found at least five different species in the short time we were there. Macroinvertibrates are so important because they are part of the food chain and provide food for other animals like birds, snakes, and bigger fish. Macroinvertabrates are really important to the ecosystem at Mr. B's.

The presentation ws nice. It was cool how we got to see the diversity between the variety of macroinvertabraes. There were some peculiar ones I saw.

When we did the macroinvertebrates experiment it trurely shocked me to see how small some animals are in Mr.B's ponds. Me and my friends even found something that even the teachers could not identify.

The macro invertebrates were neat to look at and identify, but they were all ones I’ve seen before. The macro invertebrates are important because they are food for animals that eat and are bigger than them.
