What I found surprising was that there were plentiful amounts of mushrooms scattered around Mr.B's. They were under benches, under trees and near plants. They were different shapes and sizes. Some were even long skinny pieces! I have never seen this many types of mushrooms in one day.

When I went to Mr. B’s backyard I was very surprised on how nicely it was set up and how peaceful it was. I had many observations while I was there. There were a couple ducks swimming in one of the ponds they were also quacking very loudly. There were yellow and white wildflowers, some of them just bloomed and some of them were starting to die. There were surprisingly snake and groundhog holes dug. I saw many water bugs in the two lakes/ponds. I loved Mr. B’s backyard.

A lot of things surprised when I went to Mr. Bees I saw a lot of baby frogs and a snake that surprised me a lot because I thought that the snakes would already be gone by the time that we got to see them.

My first trip to Mr.B's backyard was awesome! The first thing that I saw was a huge spiderweb. It was a pretty small spiderweb, but it was so cool. Mr. B's backyard is full of fun and cool things to learn. I also saw a frog. When the frog got scared, it jumped pretty far. It was really cool the way it stretched out its body. If you ever have the chance, you should visit Mr. B's backyard

My first experience with Mr.B's backyard was adventurous. I had lots of fun over there with all the creatures they had at Mr.B's and all paths that you can take. There's one in the back that I could go along, one one the left, and one on the right. I do think I'll have a fun time in Mr.B's backyard.

On my first visit to Mr.B's this year, I saw changes from last year. The weather was good and it was sunny outside. A change that I saw were the new kinds of fungi, especially mushrooms. There were a variety of them, some being different types. Al of the colors, sizes, shapes, and designes were unique. They really stood out to me.

In my first 7th grade visit many things surprised me. One thing that surprised me was the leaves on one tree were a purple color. Also attached to the leaves there were small things that looked like berries. Another thing that surprised me was how the animals ran away quickly when you got closer to them.

My first visit to Mr. B's backyard classroom was very interesting. I saw what types of animals and bugs around our environment. I experienced seeing what kind of small species I never noticed flying around or digging around the ground. Also by the water I noticed all the little tadpoles and little fish swimming around the lake. What surprised me the most was all the little things I never noticed all around outside just living a smaller life besides us.

Since I have been to Mr.B's backyard classroom in September, a lot has changed going into October. One way it has changed is the colors of the leaves, they have gone from being green in September to turning red, yellow, and brown. Also in weather it has changed. In September, the weather was warm and not too cold, it was also not windy, I didn't need to wear a sweatshirt. In October, it was a little colder, windy, and I needed a sweatshirt. What surprised me the most was what kind of insects and animals have changed so much in just a month. Like the tadpoles were gone, and the insects have grown, like the dragonflies and bee's. The birds were also different, not as many birds were flying around, and the ones that were, were different than the ones that were out in September.

It was just breath taking of the scenery and the little ponds that provides most wildlife a place to live. It was amazing how many tadpoles and frogs you could just watch jumping and swimming around in the ponds. I really enjoyed my first visit to Mr. B's backyard because you can have a god time you feel open and the having a time outside after a long day of learning.

The first time I visited Mr.B's Backyard Classroom, there was certain things that surprised me. There was many giant holes like snake holes or rabbit holes of some sort. In one section of Mr.B's Backyard it was swarming with poison Ivy. I just had to avoid it. And there was the huge pond with cobs. It was like a mini forest tour.

I have been in three schools in the district, and it there has been a lot to take in. One of my favorites is Mr. B's Backyard. When I went out to Mr. B's for the first time in seventh grade I loved it! I saw so many frogs, and cool animals I lost count! Also, all the diverse species make it a thrill to see. It's like a safe jungle that we can go to very frequently (if weather permits.) Not to mention the fact that Mr. B's is a great hands-on experience. To learn about the animals is one thing, to get up close with the animals and actually study them in real life is another. If I remember some things about middle school years, I will not forget Mr. B's.

As a student from Arthur Rann, I had no idea what Mr. B's would be like. I was expecting something like an organized garden. Instead, I was surprised by how big Mr. B's was. I felt like I was hiking through a small forest. There were a lot of different plants and animals. Also, I didn't expect the watersheds. I had never heard of watersheds before, and I thought it was interesting that there were ducks. In the end, I was amazed at how Mr. B's was so different than what I assumed it would be like.

Also the small pond which if you saw closely to the bank, you could see little from jumping and moving around. I also like to see the nature around me. My first seventh grade visit to Mr.B's was an interesting experience. I was there in previous years, but I usually stayed near the main pond. This time I visited the secondary pond. The surrounding landscape was a bit overgrown. It was, however, still very beautiful. I saw two ducks swimming side by side in the pond, one was a male and one was a female. Along the way, I saw a tree that was nearly covered in spider webs. That was a surprise! As we started to leave the secondary pond, I spotted a large bird flying overhead thus ending my first seventh grade visit to Mr.B's.

There was bugs, branches, and leaves it was like a human glove. The next thing I saw was the big frog near the ledge of the lake. The frog was sitting on a big green Lilly pad. The frog started to jump from Lilly to Lilly. Then it just sunk. The final object I saw was a snake hole. It looked like a big deep bottomless whole. There was a snake in there but it didn't come out yet because it was early in the morning .

This was my first visit to Mr.B's Backyard Classroom. The air was crisp, hinting at the start of autumn. I could hear all sorts of wildlife, such as birds and crickets. Also, the ponds were big and wide. There were multiple types of trees and bushes. The water was just under one meter, judging by the meter stick in the pond. It was colder by the water than by the school. Something that surprised me was that almost every tree, bush, or plant was green. I expected the same amount of green as brown, but almost all of the flora and fauna was healthy. Aside from this, there were also some overgrown parts of the path, some spots heavy with weeds. Since Mr.B's is such a large area, the weeds probably emerged over the summer when the chances of people going there were scarce. My first visit to Mr.B's was entertaining and educational.

My visit to Mr.B's Backyard Classroom was exhilarating, and exciting. Many other kid's in other townships have to travel somewhere else to see the exotic wild life in Mr.B's Backyard Classroom. Fortunately for my school and I, all we have to do is walk a few feet to experience wild life. With my own eyes, i saw wasps swarming around the pine tree, and small burrows for ground hogs. The constant chirping of crickets and cicada's filled my ears, in a rhythmic beat. To believe that monarch butterflies were still flying, toads were still leaping, and tadpoles were still swimming, I had to see it. That's precisely what Mr.B's Backyard Classroom provided for me. Not only that i learn thing's from Mr.B's Backyard Classroom, I got to use most of my senses. Mr.B's Backyard Classroom gave me an experience that i wasn't ready for, and i can't wait to go again.

My first visit to Mr.B's was fun. I saw some things that i have never seen before. There were many plants which have not fully grown. There were 2 watersheds there too. I saw some snakes. frogs, birds, and even some turtles. These watersheds have probably given all of these animals a home to live in. There were also many trees. Mostly baby trees. Well that was my first visit to Mr.B's.

It was my first visit and probably will be my favorite. I saw so many new things that you don't see at your house. I saw a beautiful butterfly I believe it was a monarch butterfly. I also saw a huge bird it's wingspan was huge. I also saw lots of cat tails and many plants , even a few bees. My first trip was absolutely amazing.

When I walked into Mr. B's back yard, it was like walking into a different world. Mr. B's back yard is filled with vegetation, like cat tails and weird mushrooms. Also in Mr. B's backyard there is a lot of life like snakes, birds, frogs, tad poles, and ducks

My first visit at mr. B's backyard was very different from what I thought it would be. I didn't expect to see so many different types of animals that live there. When I first went out it was pretty cool to hear all the different birds chirping and all the different types of plants. I was also amazed by how many new things I got to learn and see at Mr.B's backyard.

It has different kinds of animals all over. It's just perfect. There has never been a better place for experience in nature! Mr. B's is a very, very good place. In Mr. B's, you can learn about wildlife, various species, and so much more! Mr. B's is purely amazing. That's all I can say. Amazing.

My first visit to Mr.B's backyard was amazing I loved it so much. I saw many things I even saw ducks and a frog jump into the water!!! The first time I have ever went to Mr.B's backyard I thought it was going to be boring but it was so fun seeing all the animals and baby frogs made learning a lot better and fun. Some things that surprised me was the ducks. This surprised me because all of the times that I have been at Mr.B's I have NEVER seen any ducks before. Another thing that had surprised me was that how much the plants had grew. Last year when I went it was cut but then so many beautiful flowers had grown and then the cat tails were so long that was the coolest thing that I had saw that on my first trip. That was my 7th grade trip to Mr.B's backyard.

Our first visit surprised me because I didn't expect to see a pond. I thought we would just try to find a frog or something. I didn't expect to see tadpoles, they were really small but they were fast swimmers. There was lots of space to walk around, i didn't know that we had these kinds of creatures so nearby.

I've been to Mr.B's backyard before i entered 7th grade, and let me tell you, it is a great display of nature, so many unknown organisms and species can be found here. I am very grateful to have Mr.B's backyard apart of my 7th grade experience

My first experience in Mr. B's Backyard was great. It was much bigger than I thought it would be. I loved the paths because they showed every thing in the environment. The ponds were also amazing because they had lots of tad poles'. I think Mr.B's Backyard was a great add-on to our school.

My first visit was very surprising. I had just expected a small garden, but found the home of many varieties of plants and animals. There were tons of flowers, cattails, and huge lakes, like a park The thing that most surprised me were the holes in the ground. Supposedly groundhogs live there. I hadn't expected that, i thought they were just a hole, but of course something must have made that hole. The whole visit was deemed very interesting.

Some of the things that surprised me was how secluded Mr. B's backyard was I had no clue that something like that was back there and how nice it looks.

My first trip out to Mr. B's Backyard I saw lots of wildlife such as turtles, snakes, frogs, birds and bugs. I also noticed that it was the beginning of fall, so leaves were changing their color and getting ready to fall. Also, the water was 1 -- 1 1/2 feet deep. There were turtles sunbathing on the turtle log. It was very pleasant and I hope to go back out again. It was a good learning experience.
