I learned a lot from Mr.B's backyard classroom this year, It was really fun to go outside and learn about all of these different animals. We also got to look at all the animals in Mr.b's and it was a lot funner to learn that way. In my opinion Mr.B's is a great way to teach us about many different animals.

This year in Mr.B's Backyard I learned a lot about Macro invertebrates, Foxes from my Nature fest topic, And population inferences from samples. I saw a lot of snakes, frogs, and even a Mallard Duck with its nest. Mr.B's Backyard classroom has taught me a lot of nature and it was fun to go outside to Mr.B's Backyard Classroom.

I learned that snakes can live in water or out of water like in the sand. But one of my favorite memories was when we went to Mr. B's and we found a whole bunch of snakes and I was really close to get bit by a black racer. Them snakes are really fast but we saw this big fat and long snake when we were walk near the snake whole, it popped out really quickly, and we all was like Mrs. Sommers! There is a snake in the pot hole, that's how fun it was! I hope we could go to Mr. B's again next year.

the things that surprise me Mr. B's with endless especially in the spring in the spring compared to the fall I have seen many many changes that involves lots of lots of plant growth and many many different organisms evolving and making even more of their families Mr Bean always excite me every time I go out there its always more and more to the summer importantly surprised me was the growth of organisms and how much the food went and routine is demonstrated now by saying that thank you know the plane frog and sayings for the frogs and stuff like that and also one thing that I found out is that there are lots of frogs than evolve and you know you're a lot faster than all the other organism and then also that the environment inside Mr B's is very distinct and unique in its own way because it has lots of different and lots of unique characteristics that other environments does not have I'm very very appreciative of all the hard work and all the practice in all the practices and organizations coming together to make this thing happen I pray and hope that it continues to go on and on even when I leave the school thank you for introducing me to Mr B's there was a wonderful experience.

I learned a lot of useful and surprising information in Mr.B's backyard! I learned about various ecosystems. Also how to identify flowers, which I found really cool! My favorite memory was when Mrs. Sommers was kind enough to take time out of her day to show us around Mr.B's backyard, to find wildflowers. She then pressed those flowers, and we were able to use them in our presentation. I found that really fun and it was really cool showing the kids the actual flowers in person. My final thoughts about Mr.B's would be, Awesome! It gives kids a chance to learn about many different things. It also helps us with our social skills too! I really thank all of the teachers who have contributing there time to make Mr.B's backyard possible, because they have done an amazing job! Also a special thanks to Mrs.Sommers, for teaching us so many cool things, and for helping us with our presentation, and putting so much hard work into Mr.B's! Thank you!!! <3

Mr.B's has taught me so much about our ecosystem and all the little things that make our world what it is.They all make a big impact, from the tadpoles to the birds they have made me want to go back to Mr.B's more and more. One of my favorite memories from Mr.B's is when we went to learn about macro-invertebrate and got to use the nets to catch the macro-invertebrates and we got to study them.Mr.B's has made a huge impact on my view in science and it will stay with me forever.

I learned that Mr. B's always changes over the seasons. Either the weather or the animals or even the trees. All the leaves change over the season, I don't mean change shape, but they change color. Over some seasons like Winter the wildlife changes. For example, snakes and birds don't come out as often as they would if it was Summer or Spring. Over the seasons there are a lot of different weather conditions, like dry, hot, humid, foggy, snow, hail, cold, windy. All of these can effect the plants and wildlife of Mr. B's.

One thing that I learned in Mr.B's backyard classroom was how each organism had its own role. Together they make one ecosystem. My favorite memory in Mr.B"s was the time i saw the Northern Water snake. Those are a few cool things I experienced in Mr.B"s.

I learned many things this year by going to Mr. B's Backyard Classroom, but I wish we spent more time outside and went out more than we did. I also wished that we did more fun activities. I thought Mr. B's was a great experience especially since I have never visited it when i was in sixth grade. Being involved at Mr. B's made me learn things about nature and notice what not to do and be more caring to the world around us. By doing my Nature Fest project I hope I taught kids that visited, things that they didn't know and influenced them to be excited for seventh grade when they do this project. Mr. B's this year was absolutely fantastic and I think there really shouldn't be any improvements. Great Job to everyone in Nature Fest and good luck for the new seventh graders next year. Mr. B's was a blast.

I learned plenty about our local ecosystems, and the positive and unique organisms. The unique ecosystem we live around is very cool and efficient how it runs, and how organisms help support the ecosystem with their adaptations through out time. My first memory of Mr. B's happened in my fourth grade year, it still haunts me to this day, but it doesn't bother me anymore as it's cool to me now. It creep ed up on the first pond's bank. It slithered with it's rough black spine. The Black Rat Snake was my first actual memory of Mr. B's. All in all, Mr. B's is just a slither of our ecosystem that is all around us which is phenomenal. It's plant life, and animal life are just simply awesome.

I learned this year in Mr. B's backyard classroom what macro invertebrates are and what they do. Macro invertebrates are organisms without a spine and can be seen with the naked eye. They are the base of the food chain and tell if the water is polluted or not. My favorite memory was the first time we went there. Since I never been their, it was cool to see the animals, insects. Mr. Bs was awesome, and it was a good learning experience.

But anyway, at Mr. B's though, I saw many visitors(4th to 8th Graders), like at the end of my shift, my Neighbor Jessica.V, I saw when I was leaving. This year have been, no lie, my best year of school yet. It was amazing. We learned much, but we also had fun learning. Especially science class. Usually, in a normal science class, one would copy notes from books or dissect frogs but we did not do that (thank God!!!). Sure, there were times when we had to copy some notes, but then again, what class doesn't?

This year we had learned many interesting things about Mr. B's and the environment around it. We had seen species of different birds, snakes, frogs, and even plants. I had no clue about many topics we had discussed, but soon i had discovered many facts including that the Blacker Racer snake that habitats Mr.B's sheds its skin only once a year and they can reach up to 55 inches in length. I learned that every pond needs macroinvertebrates. Also, the pond quality differs with the type of macroinvertebrates. Macroinvertebrtes that can not tolerate pollution, show that the water quality is better than normal. If the macroinvertebrates are tolerant, than the water quality is bad.

My favorite memory about going to Mr. B's Backyard Classroom is the Nature Fest because I enjoyed teaching my own family about the New jersey Goldfinch and learning about a few things myself. Specifically, something that I learned about Mr. B's was that Dragonflies like to hang out by the dock and leave there exo-skeletons on the rope. My final thought about Mr. B's was what if something happened to Mr. B's? Could it be fixed? Hopefully, something bad will never happen to this wonderful place.

Another thing I learned from Mr.b's is I learned about all the animals and other organisms that live there such as damsel fly snakes and more. Lastly I learned about how to tell the difference between a damsel fly and a dragon fly. My favorite memory at Mr.B's is Nature Fest. We learned a lot in Mr. B's this year. Specifically, I learned about a lot of birds and the animals that live in the two ponds. Some things I wish we would've done is have more gust speakers and do more activities. The things I liked being involved is watching the birds and seeing the animals in the pond, also walking around the trail. Something I didn't know is that Japanese beetles are bad for your garden. We can't really improve the research. We have books and we have the internet, so there's not much more we can do. Something we can do to improve Nature Fest is to get more tents. Besides that Nature Fest was fine. I had a great year at Mr. B's.

Something that I learned this year in Mr.B's backyard classroom is that there are two types of basins in Mr.B's. The first one is the detention basin and the second one is the retention basin. The detention basin is what holds water temporarily to prevent floods and it is sometimes dry. The retention basin is what holds water permanently to prevent floods. Also, Mr.B's is a part of the Mullica River Watershed. My favorite memory was when we did dry ice and the ice cream lab. Also, my favorite memory in Mr.B's was when we did Nature Fest. It was really fun to be outside in Mr.B's throughout the year.

Honestly, I think Mr. B's Backyard Classroom extremely contributed to the environmental science unit. At first, I could hardly understand anything involving environmental science. When we started going outside to Mr. B's Backyard Classroom, I could understand everything. Over there, I learned about various species and how to contribute to the environment. We (my classmates and I) learned about macro-invertebrates, reptiles, fish, and more! Learning became hands-on and more fun! My most favorite part about Mr. B's Backyard Classroom was the Nature Fest. In that, I got to share my knowledge with several different kids. It was amazing to see all the kids come out and learn hands-on, just the same way I did! Overall, Mr. B's Backyard Classroom is a wonderful place where learning can come alive, literally!

My favorite memory of Mr. B's was when all of use were doing nature fest and everyone wanted to play my game. It was a very good experience. Me and my partner had tons of kids come to our project. I would like to do it next year.

This year in Mr B's backyard classroom I learned so many things about New Jersey's ecosystems. I learned about water sheds and how they are important to the way we live. I also learned about the animals and reptiles native to Mr B's, such as the black racer, bull frogs, northern water snakes, and a little bit about the mallard duck. All in all a pretty eventful year. A favorite memory of mine was, I was sitting on the other side of the main pond there all I could see in the water was tadpoles! They were every where, then a northern water snake swam by causing them to scatter. Mr. B's is a great way for students to learn and have fun doing it, or at least its better then sitting in a stuffy classroom. That is everything I have learned and enjoyed in Mr. B's.

I learned that there aren't just frogs, tadpoles, snakes and insects in ponds. There are also small organisms that you can only see under a microscope. I also learned that dragonflies start out as insects without wings that live in the water for four years. Then they go on land and grow wings and fly around for about two months, then they die. My favorite memory is when Makael came running out of the wood screaming "snake, snake, it could've eaten me. My final thought is that I wish that there was fish, but of course they would probably eat all the wildlife.

This year in Mr.B's Backyard I learned what a macroinvertebrates was. I knew that there were little bugs living int he water, but didn't know what they were called, and what they looked like. I thought you couldn't see them at all. But, a guest speaker came out and told us about them, and we got to see them up close.

In Mr.B's I learned a large scope of information. My science teacher, Mrs.Sommers, presented to me a vast pond ecosystem that we call, Mr.B's. One thing that I specifically learned was to just enjoy the nature around, as my teacher always cites anytime we walk around Mr.B's, "Move little, see much, move much, see little". One of my favorite memories was encountering snakes by the edge of the pond. My final thoughts about Mr.B's is that the incoming seventh graders are in for a treat, otherwise known as, Mr.B's.

I liked the path, it was nice and a good way to walk. You could really see things. My favorite memory was walking the path for the first time and seeing many birds. Mr.bee is a really good place for kids to learn.

I really enjoyed teaching at Nature Fest and feel like the way it was set up worked very well. If I could change one thing I would allow the other teams to join in instead of making them take notes

The nature Fest this year was probably the best time of this year, it was so fun to teach the little kids about Mr. B's backyard and about my project. I loved being involved in this. This was a great opportunity and I hope to be in this next year!

I learned about a lot of new species this year, I also learned about their habitats, and diets. Mr.B's backyard gives you a great opportunity to find and learn about new wildlife! My favorite memory was probably when I was with a group of my friends in Mr.B's and we encountered a live snake, we all panicked but it was funny! I'm gonna miss Mr.B's!

I loved nature fest I liked how we got to have our own little lesson and that we could teach and that we had control of what was happening and I also liked how there was different posters and different things for the to learn about.

I learned how important it is to have places like Mr.B's backyard. And to take care of them. My favorite memory of this place would be when we presented for nature fest. i just liked how we got to stay out side and teach others. Also I got to see some of my old teachers.

Specifically, this year, I learned about macro-invertebrates. The beginning of the year, I didn't even know that was a thing. I thought there was bugs then rodents. the most memorial thing was when I went to reeds road, and I was in the hallway, I would see Mr.B. He would smile and say, "Hey Marsico! What's up?" everyday. I was am so glad that i have been apart of Mr.B's backyard and i hope to continue to be involved.

This year in Mr.B's I learned about watersheds, macro-invertebrates, turtles, snakes, ducks, and many kinds of birds. One of my favorite memories was when me and some other students found a baby turtle in the larger pond. It was really cool to see the different stages in life and how such a small turtle is a big part of a big area.I really enjoyed going to Mr.B's this year and I hope I can visit it next year.

I learned about snakes, insects, pollution, and so on. My favorite memory for Mr. B's Backyard is Nature Fest because i had so much fun teaching others about a topic and it was just fun. My final thoughts about Mr. B's is that it is a great place to be if you love nature. But overall i think Mr B's Backyard is awesome.

All this year, I have always looked forward to the days that we go out for Mr. B's. All of the ecosystem behind a gate. I can not imagine how lucky I am that I get to learn about various bird species, macroinvertebrates, and so much more all in the same year. Most don't get to experience this which is kind of upsetting to think about. I'd have to say my favorite experience from this school year was presenting in Nature Fest. All though we weren't the most popular, or most aesthetically pleasing group, it sure was fun to "school" people in some knowledge on newts. From what I've seen, Mr. B's just keeps getting better and better, and I hope that I can keep visiting frequently before I must leave for another school. These are my final thoughts on Mr. B's Backyard Classroom.

This year in Mr.B's I learned about macro-invertebrates and how they are a big help in the environment. Most importantly, they have the ability to indicate water quality. Also, they provide a valuable cleaning service which helps recycle nutrients back into the system. My favorite memory was seeing the Northern Water Snakes for the first time.

In Mr.B's Backyard Classroom I learned many interesting things about nature and the ecosystem we live in. I saw snacks and frogs up close and learned more then I known about macro invertebrates, mallard ducks, Ospreys, and many more. Everything I learned about in the Mr.B's Backyard Classroom this and the past years strengthen my love for nature. I just hope the new comers of Mr.B's learned as much as I did!

Something I learned in Mr.B's backyard this year was all the organisms the rely on it. I remember a Millard Duck was found and it had created a nest for its eggs to live. My favorite memory of M.B's is walking around the pond with my friends and exploring all the nature i did not notice before. I remember seeing the snake holes in the ground that i didn't notice the year before. My final thoughts about M.B's is it was a great learning experience for everyone and everyone seems to enjoy their selves. I really forward to it next year!
