I have many observations about Mr.B's Backyard Classroom. I noticed a big pond as soon as i stepped into the gate. I also saw many wild animals like Canadian geese, baby toads, Carolina wrens, and a wading bird. I noticed that there were many beautiful plants. Something that surprised me was the fact there was a big water snake in a small pool of water off of the pond. I would like to do more research and teach others about the animals and plants.

My experience at Mr. B's back yard was a memorable one. We were able to see an American bullfrog, a wading bird and a northern water snake from a safe distance. However, do to recent dry temperatures the water level at Mr. B's has dropped so much that you can see the bottom of the pond.

Something that surprised me was the water snake i found with a group of people. The snake was large and almost came on the shore it was a brownish blackish color, it kind of looked like it was slimy the snake was the best I have seen. It was cool to see the drought because now you can see the process of the water coming back.

What I learned when I went to Mrs. B's Backyard is it started in 2010,and surprisingly I didn't know that even though I went to Roland and went to Mrs. B's a lot.Since I went to Mrs .B's in first period it was really pretty and peaceful and quiet.I saw a at least 5 foot snake in the water,it was amazing.

This year wasn't my first year, but it was still fun. In 7th grade, you don't get out much besides of gym, so going out to mr.bs was fun. This was the first time I ever saw the one pond empty. There are many animals, and wild life. There were tadpoles, frogs, gold finches, birds, and many more creatures. it was a great experience!

Something that surprised me was really everything like how much the plants had grown since I was there and there was not as many animals I had seen last year like there were no snakes coming out the water then going back in if scared. Well i'm looking forward to seeing all the wildlife and I hope to even see new animals when I go.

The experience of going to such a wonderful habitat of animals in our area was amazing. Even though I've been there before, I saw many new things such as a the pond at a lower water level, groundhog and snake holes, and even a fallen tree! It may not look like much from far away, but it's bustling with wildlife. I'm really looking forward to participating in the Go Green Nature Fest.

I was really surprised to see the amount of water in the lakes this year. It allowed us to observe closer than ever and to get up close to some of the birds there. I noticed that there were many dragonflies/wildflowers this year and that there were many (possible) empty snake/groundhog holes. I am looking forward to going there more often to see the changes in each season, especially in the spring/summer time.

I was surprised to see that one lake was full, but kind of low. How ever, the other lake was so dry that it was cracking. I also noticed that what looked like snake holes were actually gopher holes. I liked how the frog's eyes were the only things poking out of the water, and you could see the rest of their bodies were just floating in the water. Mr. Bee's Backyard is amazing!

This years was not my first year going, but my first year going as a seventh grader. It was very different then usual because we were observing the area not just running around then leaving. I did notice some changes from last year such as the water level was surprisingly low. You could practically see the entire bottom of the pond! The detention pond on the other side was completely empty with no trace of water. It was dried out and the ground was cracked. The trees over there were overgrown in some parts and make the area very shady, which was nice. This year I am looking forward to Nature fest, researching different thing that live here.

Since I have been to Mr.B's before I know a lot of information about the ponds, the biggest difference there was from last year for me was the water level. In the retention pond the water was dry on about all of the edges which obviously is different from fairly close to the path. Unfortunately every time I've been to Mr.B's the detention pond has been dry.

Something that suprised me on my first visit to Mr. B's was that there was a dried out pond because of the lack of rainfall in our area. Also, I didn't think that the ponds would be as big as they are. They both had a lot of wildlife around the perimeter of the pond. In elementary school I went to Reeds Road. When I used to go to Mr.B's I used to love seeing the animals, and the plants, and just being out doors and seeing cool wildlife animals. This year I was actually surprised though because the one animal I loved seeing wasn't in the spot where it usually is. I usually find snakes near the back, but when I was there I saw that the water in the back was further back, and I was not able to see any snakes. Even though I didn't see any snakes I still enjoyed going to Mr.B's Backyard Classroom and seeing the other animals and plants.

When I first went to Mr.B's backyard I was surprised to see all the plants and animals. I could here the crickets making sounds and I was surprised to see that Mr.B's backyard was jumbling with life. It was really fun to not only learn about the things out in the gardens but It was really fun to actually get to see how it looks and hear the sounds that they make instead of looking at pictures and watching boring videos.

It was very cool, the best part was when there was a load of blue dragon flys on the pond.

I LOVED my first experience at Mr.B'S. It was so amazing, I saw many things but some that stood out were how they were tiny baby toad all over the place and how snakes lurk around the water. The flowers were so beautiful and there so many of them around the lake. I also noticed that it is so peaceful and quite. Since we went the earliest I feel like we got to see some more animals than other people. I cant wait to go back I look forward to seeing more animals like birds and snakes. I LOVED my first experience!!!!!!!!!

My seventh grade visit to Mr. B's Backyard was really interesting. I got to see lots of different animals I haven't seen in a while. I saw a long snake , I think it was a black racer snake.I also saw bullfrogs and frogs all around the path. I'm looking forward to cleaning and taking care of it.I would love adding new animals to it also.

My first 7th grade first trip was great I got to see a lot of nature outside like geese and diffrent flowers. Something that surprised me was the dry pond because of the weather which is cool. At Mr. Bee I am looking forward to Nature Fest at Mr.B. I love MR>b and I get to learn a lot every year.

Besides the fact that the day was the absolute beautiful, and the water looked very peaceful..I had such an amazing time at Mr.B"s backyard! I have never thought about nature this way, Mr.B is such an amazing place and i never wished to leave! From water snakes to yellow flowers...Mr.B has it all and I have an opportunity to see it all! I wish i could go back there and go searching! I really hope in the future that i can visit Mr.B's backyard again! If so, I look foward to the nature fest!

I have never been to Mr.B's before, but my first trip was very informative and I look forward to going back again. I thought that the ponds were going to be small and it took me by surprise how large they actually were.I learned the difference between a damsel fly and a dragonfly.I was very surprised that the detention pond was dried out. I am really looking forward to helping to clean our environment and learn a lot more about the local wild life

The thing I thought was surprising was that the grass had got higher since the last time I went out there in 6th grade and I noticed that the was a groundhog hole. In 4th grade I was in a trailer and we heard the groundhogs scratching under us and it was really cool. When I went out there I saw a lot of dragon flies then what I did before.
