I have learned that more animals come out in Mr.B's in the spring than in the winter and fall. Also that there are more birds and that they lay eggs. What surprised me was how many tadpoles there were and how little snakes and birds there were. I'm looking forward to seeing the duck's fledglings in the last few visits.
I have seen more animals roaming around in the spring than in the winter and fall. The fact that there are thousands of tadpole and very little snakes and birds has surprised me. What i want to see int he last few visits to Mr.B's is the duck's fledglings.
I was really surprised when I saw the Duck I didn't think they nested so close to people. When I come back I hope to see the baby ducks.
Mr. B's in the spring is a beautiful sight to see with all the different species. One thing I learned is that out in the spring many species are to be seen and one of the species is the mallard duck which is currently on its offspring. One thing that I am looking forward to in our last few visits is to finally get. One thing that I am looking forward to in our last few visits to chose my topic for nature fest and be able to help our community in any way I can.Mr.B's in the spring is a place to be for this beautiful sites and to see all the new species of animals
Something that surprised me in Mr. B's was the amount of dragonflies flying on top of the shallow water. They looked like they were enjoying getting an exercise after hiding from our winter storms. I'm looking forward to seeing a family of groundhogs running across the field.
I have been surprised that the environment changed so much in just a couple months. The plants and trees have grown so much and it is awesome. When I visit Mr. B's for the last couple times I'm looking forward to seeing what animals I can see and if it develops anymore plants, trees, or wildlife.
some stuff that surprised me was the change in the water level. Another thing that surprised me was the trees and all the tadpoles in the pond. The trees were really green and covering the path. There were a lot of tadpoles in the pond
I've seen and learned that in the spring there are a lot more organisms to see. Something that surprised me were the amount of dragonflies outside. Another thing that surprised me were the amount of snakes, tadpoles, frogs, and bullfrogs. I thought that the mother duck incubating her eggs was the most surprising thing outside. So far, I've learned about the different organisms that live in Mr.B's and how they contribute to the environment. On my last few visits to Mr.B's, I'm looking forward to identifying more of the different types of snakes that live there.
Well, during the spring, there are many more snakes in spring as for ducks, dragonflies, and other organisms, that's what suprized me a Mr.B's. But the things I might expect is to complete and might get to nature fest, and maybe if possible see duck eggs or even ducklings!
What surprised me about the spring visit is how active the animals were. There were more snakes out and almost 500 tadpoles in only ONE of the ponds.
I expect to see even more excitement by the animals as the weather gets warmer.
I have seen much life at Mr. B's backyard in the spring. Everywhere I looked, I would see at least some sort of life. The thing that I am looking forward to the most on my last visits to Mr. B's is watching all the tadpoles grow legs, and turn into frogs.
Something that I seen and learned about in the spring that surprised me is that there were a lot of dragonflies and damselflies around the pond. Also, there are a lot of little, black tadpoles in the pond and there are also many snakes that come out. Something that I am looking forward to in my last few visits at Mr.B's is that I want to see more different types of animals that are in Mr.B's if there are.
I have seen the pond at its best. I saw a nesting mallard duck, northern water snakes, a black racer, a bullfrog, and an abundance of tadpoles. It surprised me that so many tadpoles were in the pond. I am looking forward to the nature fest. There I will learn about more things about New Jersey's wild life. That is what I am looking forward to in Mr. B's.
I learned and have seen lots of things about spring in Mr. B's backyard. One thing I saw was all the pollen from the trees. One thing really looking forward to is all the tadpoles turning into frogs or toads.
In Mr.B's Backyard there are so many new things every day. This spring in Mr,B's I was surprised to see the Mallard nesting. It was so cool seeing the duck; I can't wait until little ducklings hatch!
What I have seen in Mr.B's is life starting to come back to life.Birds, snakes, and bugs have all come out of winter hiding.Something that really surprised me was the fact of how quick life came back. What I am looking forward to in my last visits is to see all of the wildlife hanging around in the area.
When will the babies hatch? How old is the mother?
I have seen many Macroinvertabrites. Their very unique creatures. I want to learn more about the northern water snake. They were very cool.
I have learned that more things happen in the Spring than in the Fall.
What I have seen and learned is that mallard ducks sit on there eggs for weeks and are protective to their young. Also that there are a lot more snakes than I thought were in Mr b's . I love Mr b's because it is so unpredictable. There are most snakes one day and none the other.
the things that surprise me Mr beas with endless especially in the spring in the spring compared to the fall I have seen many many changes that involves lots of lots of plant growth and many many different organisms evolving and making even more of their families Mr Bean always excite me everytime I go out there its always more and more to the summer importantly surprised me was the growth of organisms and how much the food went and routine is demonstrated now by saying that thank you know the plane frog and sayings for the frogs and stuff like that and also one thing that I found out is that there are lots of frogs than evolve and you know you're a lot faster than all the other organism and then also that the environment inside Mr B's is very distinct and unique in its own way because it has lots of different and lots of unique characteristics that other environments does not have I'm very very appreciative of all the hard work and all the practice in all the practices and organizations coming together to make this thing happen I pray and hope that it continues to go on and on even when I leave the school thank you for introducing me to Mr B's there was a wonderful experience.
Our class has recently been going out to Mr.B's recently. Many things have changed now that we are in spring. First off animals have been more active. I saw a lot of birds flying and a northern water snake slithering. I also saw a bunch of tadpoles including a bull frog tadpole. I learned how to identify birds. On thing that surprised me was how many different types of birds there are. I also was surprised at the fact that there is a mallard duck nesting in Mr.B's.
I was surprised to see such a beautiful ambiance at Mr.B's. Even though it is just across the street from the school, it seems like a whole new place that shocks me with animals and plants with every visit. Speaking of animals, it warmed my heart to see a duck laying eggs to continue the circle of life. Also, the snake I saw was very fascinating. What also shocked me, which was also a downside to the visit, was the prodigious amount of pollen that covered the ponds at Mr.B's.
I am looking forward to more changes in the spring and summer months at Mr.B's. I will miss adventuring beyond the gates with my classmates, but I know that there is a possibility that I will go out to Mr.B's in eighth grade. I am also looking forward to seeing new animals that were not out for the fall and winter. I am excited to spend time outside, one with nature.
When my class and I went out to Mr.B's, we saw many new organisms. Organisms like dragonflies, the nesting duck, all different kinds of birds, and many new bugs. Even in the water there is life of frogs, tadpoles, and even snakes! I'm looking forward to see the new animals and bugs of Mr.B's come out.
I am going to be honest and state my true opinion on my encounters at Mr. B's. There are A LOT of snakes. I remember when there was like one, or two, but our class reported around seven or eight, and when you are the one viewing all of them up close, even though they may be harmless, it is still intimidating. However, in my last visits, at Mr. B's this year, I hopefully get to see the ducklings hatch sooner or later, because little Mallard ducks running around everywhere would just be a pleasant sight. There's my hopes for future Mr. B's visits.
I have learned that Mr.B's is booming with life I have seem snakes, tadples, and many other animals. What surprised me was seeing a malard duck nesting by the fence. I thought that the duck would nest somewhere more protected. What I am looking forward to see in my last few visits is some groundhogs and a black racer snake.
I've seen so many snakes come out since spring started. They've been up on the banks, in the water, and in both at once. They fly through the water. Only two kinds of snakes go into the water. The Northern water snake, and i can;t remember the second one.
I'm looking forward to trying to see a snake trying to eat a frog. I don't know why, but i just want to.
In Mr.B's I was surprised about that every animal was moving about. Most animals in the spring are active and moving about because all the plants are growing and the pond is not frozen and is able to drink out of. This shows how much winter effects organisms and how they need spring to survive.
Nearing the end of May, Mr. B's Backyard Classroom has been blooming with life. There is nowhere you can turn without seeing a frog hopping around, or a bird chirping loudly. Mr. B's is so fun to explore in this time of year! In these last few visits in Mr. B's, I am hoping to be able to to explore all the known habitats in Mr. B's and marvel at all the beautiful parts of Mr. B's that are flowering this time of year. I was so surprised at seeing all that can happen in a short time. Mr. B's went from slightly inhabited to extremely inhabited in such a short while. I would recommend going to Mr. B's and seeing for yourself the beauty that Mr. B's can really hold this time of year!
I have seen a Mallard Duck and I have seen very big snakes. I have learned about animals and plants. I have also learned about Watersheds. I am looking forward to looking at different animals at my last few visits. I have really enjoyed Mr B's Backyard.
I have seen 3 snakes and a duck nesting. I learned the snakes dont bite as long as you get near one. I am looking forward to seeing more snakes.
Something that surprised me was how many species lived in and around the pond
something that suprised me about Mr B's backyard was how many species surrounded the pond, and how the amount of animals there, was alot.
Something that I have seen that surprised me was the duck. It surprised me because the duck was okay with all of us being really close and not running away. Something I am looking forward to is, seeing new animals that I would not expect to be in Mr. B's.
In Mr.B's backyard, I have seen many things such as a female Mallard Duck caring for her eggs and I have learned that the ecosystem at Mr.B's has to be balanced or else it wont continue to thrive as a whole ecosystem. Next year I am looking forward to getting fish and other species that live underwater.
I have seen many things in the spring that has really caught my attention. There is a huge change from the fall to the spring. Mr.B's is definitely now more alive and vibrant with life and color. I have seen many different species and a variety of plants and animals! What really surprised me though is the amount of snakes there is! Every time I go outside now, I see a minimum of four snakes! I watch them raise their heads up over the ponds and swim around for food and it amazing!
I've learned that the spring brings new life and replenishment to all of nature, the spring also brings the end for some organisms. Mr.B's also has more vibrant, and flowing with life in the spring time. Like I said before for insects such as dragonfly's, many face the last season when spring warms up, of their life. Overall, as the weather warms in spring, organisms flourish with life. In the last couple of visits I hope to see life to the max in Mr.B's, such as flowers sprouting, organisms active in the radiant sun, this is overall what makes Mr.B's such an a live place.
Mr.B's Backyard Classroom brings many new surprises as each season passes. From fall to spring there has been many changes. In the spring, I've seen many species that I didn't know about. For example, the tadpole bullfrogs. Mr.B's is a great place to learn about new, exciting, wildlife creatures. I've learned so much this year and I'm looking forward to learning more about more creatures as the end of the year approaches.
There were a lot of things that surprised me this spring in Mr.B's. First, I saw many snakes and different animals everywhere that I didn't see in the fall. Like, more kinds of birds, insects, and aquatic organisms like tadpoles and macroinvertabrates. It is a lot greener and warmer with all all the new plant life. For the last few visits of Mr.B's I am looking for just enjoying nature out there and just working with the nature.
I was surprised by how the weather and plants changed so quickly from the winter. It became much more warm and the trees grew back their leaves. I was also surprised that a duck decided to nest at Mr. B's. I am looking forward to seeing more animals at Mr. B's in my next few visits.
Snakes can swim. and breathe uses water. i want to catch a water snake.
What I saw and learned about in the spring with Mr.B's backyard is how much our environment changes just within two seasons. There is so much life all around that if you just stop and look you would notice all the tadpoles swimming around, the dragonflies In the air, and the snakes slithering around at your feet. Just like Mrs. Sommers always says, "Move much, see little, move little, see much". I look forward to seeing the last little changes into the summer season between now and the end of the year. Like the last of the tadpoles turning into frogs.
Throughout our many visits to Mr. B's backyard I believe that spring time has showed the most change . For example, the baby tadpoles turned into frogs and the trees began to grow more colorful leaves . Also, the water depth got low over time . As we wrap up the year with only a few visits left to Mr. B's I am hoping to see more amazing changes in the eviorment.
What surprised me at Mr b's was how much snakes and the variety of them. There's about three species of snake in there and I was very surprised how big some of them were
Many things in the spring are different from the fall at Mr.B's because in the fall there is no life just some trees and two ponds, in the spring there are frogs, birds, snakes, butterflies, and tadpoles. Mr.B's is teaming with life, if you listen close enough you can here mocking birds sing their different songs, and bullfrogs croak. Everything is just so alive. I'm looking forward to my last few visits because I think more things will come and make their way into Mr. B's. I have learned so many things at Mr. B's it's insane. I honestly love this experience and everyone should get a chance to Mr. B's it .There's so many things that happen in the spring imagine it's going to happen this summer!
The thing that I have seen in Mr.B's is the duck that is in the bushes. What I have learned in the spring that surprised me is the bullfrog that was like chilling on top of the water, and the snakes. I was looking foreword to the last few visits to Mr.B's is that i could see all of the bullfrog tadpole become a bullfrog.
I was surprised by how much more wildlife was outside. During the winter there were just mostly birds , but now there are all kinds of snakes and ducks. I hope too see ever more animals in Mr. B's.
I saw a lot of thing that surprised me in Mr.B's. I saw that there was a flock of geese. I also saw the duck's nest. I also have seen a great increase in the amount of Dragonflies in Mr.B's. I look forward to find some other species, or other new things.
Mr.B's backyard classroom has evolved drastically since the Fall. I've seen snakes, ducks, heard bullfrogs, and much more. I didn't witness or hear any of those things in Fall. I've learned that the warmth of the spring attracts many different animals to Mr. B's. I'm hoping that in my last few visits I get to see a groundhog.
In Mr.B's backyard I've seen many different types of plants and animals around the pound such as tad poles, bull frogs, birds in the trees, snakes and a duck nesting. I was surprised to see a snake up really close while walking around.
Mr. B's has always been a neat and interesting place and I am sad to see that I only have a few times left with Mr.B's. During spring time, Mr. B's is at it's peak. It's nice, and warm, and different creautures are just begining to come out. Tadpoles are turning to frogs and toads. Different birds like the Tree Swallow, and the Red-Wing Blackbird, are singing beautiful tunes and little songs. But what has delighted and shocked me the most, has to be the abunance of snakes slithering about. Now, I am not one to approach a snake and start to pet, pick it up, or hug it,*cough* my brother *cough* but I see snakes as amazing creatures and I do not think I have seen so many larger snakes in the wild. I was especally surprised, even though I've heard there were many snakes before, you know how children teens and children tend to over exaggerate from time to time, and i thought this was merely one of those instances. But soon after spring started bloom and allergies started to irritate everybody, it was clear to see there had been no mistake. I will miss Mr. B's greatly and i hope in my my few last visits there, I will be able to discover more exciting things. I hope that the new students comin to Mr.B's will have such an enjoyable expirience as I.
I've seen that Mr.B's is as Mrs.Sommers says, "Teeming with life." Now that spring has rolled around, I see the overwhelming beauty of pure nature. In the last couple visits to Mr.B's, I'm looking forward to seeing Mr.B's as it is and as I enjoy it, prepossessing.
Some things that i have learned and some stuff that surprised me is that, I learned that dragonflies spend their first few years in life in the water.
Something that surprised me is that their is a Mallard duck nesting in Mr.B's.
Mr.B's backyard surprised me very much. Seeing all the different animals in one spot is amazing. There was small animals and then larger ones. I never would have guessed to see the animal that I saw as in snakes, ducks, groundhog, etc. It is fun to see all the animals live their life on the ponds. A great example was the duck laying it's eggs. I didn't expect to see a family being born. Mr.B's Backyard surprised me in its quality of animals.
I didn't know that all these animals during spring. Like the mailer duck is hashing the egg soon. Also that the bull frogs is having many eggs and lots of them are hatching
I was surprised about how many Canadian geese where in the pond that one day.I was also surprised about how many bullfrog tadpoles that where in the pond.
In Mr.B's i saw a lot of snakes, which really surprised me, i saw the black racer and other snakes i don't know the name of in the water. There was also many bullfrog tadpoles, and we even saw a groundhog! The pollen wasn't very exciting but it was surprising to see how much there was, even if the weather changed so suddenly it was still so much!
In Mr. B's there are many things to look at. I've seen many things , I hope to see more species.
What really surprised me about Mr.B's lately was that in the winter the water was covering the dock and now, Spring time, the water has dropped than regular height. Also, another thing that surprised me was that in the winter time there wasn't almost any life in Mr.B's but, now there are birds flying, chirping and frogs croaking, it's just more alive.
Through our many times being at Mr. Bs backyard a lot of change has appeared. Spring time has had the most change. In Spring more animals have come out like snacks, ducks, and bullfrogs. Also I have noticed that and heard all the birds fighting for there "own tree". In my last visits in Mr.Bs backyard I hope to see a ground hog
What has truly amazed me about Mr.B's is the ludicrous abundance of toads and frogs hopping all over the place. The sheer amount is overwhelming. I'm looking forward to seeing the ducklings waddle behind their mother quacking away.
I learned that their are so many different species of living thing such as birds, snakes, plants. Also how the tad pole start as baby and grow to be frogs. I can't wait to see more animals
What surprised me was how many snakes I saw in the water. When I saw the flowers blooming and the birds claiming their territory. All of the flowers were different colors. What I learned was about different types of birds when we did the bird lab. Also The mallard duck having 12 ducklings
I have learned that Mr.B's fills with many different types of organisms in the spring.Something that surprised me that I saw this spring was snakes. When I was last out at Mr.B's I saw at least four snakes. It was interesting to see how they swim and move along the banks. I am very excited to see the female mallard duck's hatch lings.
I have never seen a duck like that.It was really cool to see other animals that i haven't seen before because I get to learn a lot more then i did before.
One thing that surprised me is how much Mr. B's is involved in nature. I'm looking forward to seeing all the animals and changes in Mr. B's.
at first I thought it was a snake or something hiding in the sticks, but it was a duck☺.I was surprised that it was in that hole.Is it stuck?
