I have learned that more animals come out in Mr.B's in the spring than in the winter and fall. Also that there are more birds and that they lay eggs. What surprised me was how many tadpoles there were and how little snakes and birds there were. I'm looking forward to seeing the duck's fledglings in the last few visits.

Something that surprised me in Mr. B's was the amount of dragonflies flying on top of the shallow water. They looked like they were enjoying getting an exercise after hiding from our winter storms. I'm looking forward to seeing a family of groundhogs running across the field.

I have been surprised that the environment changed so much in just a couple months. The plants and trees have grown so much and it is awesome. When I visit Mr. B's for the last couple times I'm looking forward to seeing what animals I can see and if it develops anymore plants, trees, or wildlife.

I've seen and learned that in the spring there are a lot more organisms to see. Something that surprised me were the amount of dragonflies outside. Another thing that surprised me were the amount of snakes, tadpoles, frogs, and bullfrogs. I thought that the mother duck incubating her eggs was the most surprising thing outside. So far, I've learned about the different organisms that live in Mr.B's and how they contribute to the environment. On my last few visits to Mr.B's, I'm looking forward to identifying more of the different types of snakes that live there.

I have seen much life at Mr. B's backyard in the spring. Everywhere I looked, I would see at least some sort of life. The thing that I am looking forward to the most on my last visits to Mr. B's is watching all the tadpoles grow legs, and turn into frogs.

Something that I seen and learned about in the spring that surprised me is that there were a lot of dragonflies and damselflies around the pond. Also, there are a lot of little, black tadpoles in the pond and there are also many snakes that come out. I have seen the pond at its best. I saw a nesting mallard duck, northern water snakes, a black racer, a bullfrog, and an abundance of tadpoles. It surprised me that so many tadpoles were in the pond. I am looking forward to the nature fest. There I will learn about more things about New Jersey's wild life. That is what I am looking forward to in Mr. B's.

Our class has recently been going out to Mr.B's recently. Many things have changed now that we are in spring. First off animals have been more active. I saw a lot of birds flying and a northern water snake slithering. I also saw a bunch of tadpoles including a bull frog tadpole. I learned how to identify birds. On thing that surprised me was how many different types of birds there are. I also was surprised at the fact that there is a mallard duck nesting in Mr.B's.

I was surprised to see such a beautiful ambiance at Mr.B's. Even though it is just across the street from the school, it seems like a whole new place that shocks me with animals and plants with every visit. Speaking of animals, it warmed my heart to see a duck laying eggs to continue the circle of life. Also, the snake I saw was very fascinating. What also shocked me, which was also a downside to the visit, was the prodigious amount of pollen that covered the ponds at Mr.B's.

I am going to be honest and state my true opinion on my encounters at Mr. B's. There are A LOT of snakes. I remember when there was like one, or two, but our class reported around seven or eight, and when you are the one viewing all of them up close, even though they may be harmless, it is still intimidating. However, in my last visits, at Mr. B's this year, I hopefully get to see the ducklings hatch sooner or later, because little Mallard ducks running around everywhere would just be a pleasant sight. There's my hopes for future Mr. B's visits.

I've seen so many snakes come out since spring started. They've been up on the banks, in the water, and in both at once. They fly through the water. Only two kinds of snakes go into the water. The Northern water snake, and i can;t remember the second one.

In Mr.B's I was surprised about that every animal was moving about. Most animals in the spring are active and moving about because all the plants are growing and the pond is not frozen and is able to drink out of. This shows how much winter effects organisms and how they need spring to survive.

Nearing the end of May, Mr. B's Backyard Classroom has been blooming with life. There is nowhere you can turn without seeing a frog hopping around, or a bird chirping loudly. Mr. B's is so fun to explore in this time of year! In these last few visits in Mr. B's, I am hoping to be able to to explore all the known habitats in Mr. B's and marvel at all the beautiful parts of Mr. B's that are flowering this time of year. I was so surprised at seeing all that can happen in a short time. Mr. B's went from slightly inhabited to extremely inhabited in such a short while. I would recommend going to Mr. B's and seeing for yourself the beauty that Mr. B's can really hold this time of year!

I've learned that the spring brings new life and replenishment to all of nature, the spring also brings the end for some organisms. Mr.B's also has more vibrant, and flowing with life in the spring time. Like I said before for insects such as dragonfly's, many face the last season when spring warms up, of their life. Overall, as the weather warms in spring, organisms flourish with life. In the last couple of visits I hope to see life to the max in Mr.B's, such as flowers sprouting, organisms active in the radiant sun, this is overall what makes Mr.B's such an a live place.

What I saw and learned about in the spring with Mr.B's backyard is how much our environment changes just within two seasons. There is so much life all around that if you just stop and look you would notice all the tadpoles swimming around, the dragonflies In the air, and the snakes slithering around at your feet. Just like Mrs. Sommers always says, "Move much, see little, move little, see much". I look forward to seeing the last little changes into the summer season between now and the end of the year. Like the last of the tadpoles turning into frogs.

Throughout our many visits to Mr. B's backyard I believe that spring time has showed the most change . For example, the baby tadpoles turned into frogs and the trees began to grow more colorful leaves . Also, the water depth got low over time . As we wrap up the year with only a few visits left to Mr. B's I am hoping to see more amazing changes in the eviorment.

Many things in the spring are different from the fall at Mr.B's because in the fall there is no life just some trees and two ponds, in the spring there are frogs, birds, snakes, butterflies, and tadpoles. Mr.B's is teaming with life, if you listen close enough you can here mocking birds sing their different songs, and bullfrogs croak. Everything is just so alive. I'm looking forward to my last few visits because I think more things will come and make their way into Mr. B's. I have learned so many things at Mr. B's it's insane. I honestly love this experience and everyone should get a chance to Mr. B's it .There's so many things that happen in the spring imagine it's going to happen this summer!

Mr. B's has always been a neat and interesting place and I am sad to see that I only have a few times left with Mr.B's. During spring time, Mr. B's is at it's peak. It's nice, and warm, and different creautures are just begining to come out. Tadpoles are turning to frogs and toads. Different birds like the Tree Swallow, and the Red-Wing Blackbird, are singing beautiful tunes and little songs. But what has delighted and shocked me the most, has to be the abunance of snakes slithering about. Now, I am not one to approach a snake and start to pet, pick it up, or hug it,*cough* my brother *cough* but I see snakes as amazing creatures and I do not think I have seen so many larger snakes in the wild. I was especally surprised, even though I've heard there were many snakes before, you know how children teens and children tend to over exaggerate from time to time, and i thought this was merely one of those instances. But soon after spring started bloom and allergies started to irritate everybody, it was clear to see there had been no mistake. I will miss Mr. B's greatly and i hope in my my few last visits there, I will be able to discover more exciting things. I hope that the new students comin to Mr.B's will have such an enjoyable expirience as I.
