I learned that the same trees might have different feels. That some leaves smell and some don't , some smell good and some don't. I thought that this was a cool experience because it's not like every day we go outside and feel trees and leaves.

I noticed many things when it was quiet in Mr.B's. If you listen and not run around and be loud you hear many different sounds. From things that fly to things like frogs. I heard different birds singing and making noise. Then a bullfrog, which I didn't know where that loud! I noticed lots of things when its quiet in Mr.B's.

i noticed many interesting things and noises at Mr.B's For example, the bullfrog it makes a sort of calling. Also, bird callings, from everywhere and many tree leaves shaking against each other. I also felt different types of barks that were rough and wet. Really moist leaves on most trees or weird different berries. The smells I've smelled was the smell of pine. Therefor, some different kinds of fern smelled like a fresh sweet root beer float at the bottom. Mr.B's is filled with many different kinds of amazing species of animals and incredible kinds of plants or fern.

Over the time of just sitting there and taking my time observing the nature quietly using my other senses I have noticed so much that I haven't noticed before. Taking my time I saw how nature comes and goes like that. Ducks swimming together in one of the ponds or butterfly's or dragonfly mating. Its wonderful what your body can see and do in such little time. Have you ever wondered what a bug does when its sits on a leaf or flower its either trying to find some type of food or something. Aaliyah inspired me to close my eyes and just use my resources other than my eyes. She has to use her hands, smell, taste, and hearing its remarkable. There is so much movement and sounds that I didn't no what to concentrate on first. When your outside sometime sit down close your eyes and use your other senses something may surprise you like it did to me.

By taking time to observe and use my other senses I started to notice many different things. Many of the animals that get scared by loud noises started to feel comfortable and continued what they were doing because everyone stayed quite. I also could hear the different songs of birds and tell which bird they came from. When you aren't running around, you get the time to just sit, its very relaxing.

I noticed that you do not need all of your senses such as sight to enjoy life in the outdoors. While I was blind folded I could realize that there are more sounds that I did not pay attention to while I could see. As well as hearing more sounds I could smell more things like pine. I know there are people in this world who do not have one or more senses, but they can still enjoy the outdoors.

when we were observing, you had to move slowly. The teacher said "move more, see less, move less see more" Which is very true. I stayed near one area to watch and listen to all the animals plus insects. When my friend blindfolded me, all i touched was bark and leaves. I didn't get that far. It was a great experience in Mr.Bs backyard. I hope we go back soon.

I learned that we really take for granted our senses because when we take the time to use all of them there is so much more nature to explore than just what meets the eye. Also even though we don't realize it there can be tons of different nature in just one spot that we hadn't taken the time to see.

I noticed that Mr.B's has so many different textures and sounds. While I was standing there I could hear the bird calls clearly and I heard the wind moving past me while feeling a shiver. The noise that the rest of the class was making was nothing compared to the beautiful sounds of the pond. Feeling around blind was pretty scary but you really put your other senses to the test. I could feel the uneven earth under my boots and the leaves hitting my hair. The feeling of the different trees were cool and some of the leaves were so soft I wanted to take all of them and sew them into a blanket and a pillow. I loved walking around Mr.B's blind folded I felt way more connected to nature.

I observed that if you use your other senses that you could determine between species of animals. For example if you can't tell between a certain bird by just seeing you can just listen to tell between the species. I realized that it is more helpful then it seems. Using your other senses is a major part of observing nature.
